When you register for an account, we may collect the following information:
- Account Data: Email address, display name, and profile picture (via Google Sign-In or Email/Password registration).
- Authentication Data: Unique User ID (UID) provided by Firebase Authentication.
B. Health and Medical Data
To provide our core services, we collect and store:
- Prescription Images: Images of medical prescriptions you upload for AI analysis.
- Medication Data: Extracted medicine names, dosages, frequencies, and duration.
- Medication Adherence: Logs of when you take or skip your scheduled doses (Taken Doses).
C. Device and Usage Information
- Device Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to send you push notifications.
- Crash Reports: Automated crash reports and performance data via Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs and improve the App.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To Provide the Service: To schedule exact alarms, parse your prescriptions using AI, and manage your medication timeline.
- To Improve the App: To analyze crash logs (via Crashlytics) and improve AI parsing accuracy.
- To Communicate: To send you essential push notifications regarding your medication schedules.
3. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal or medical data to advertisers. However, we use trusted third-party services to operate the App:
- Google Firebase: We use Firebase Auth (authentication), Cloud Firestore (database storage), Cloud Functions (backend logic), and Crashlytics (bug tracking). Your data is stored securely on Google's servers.
- Google Cloud Vision & Gemini AI: When you upload a prescription, the image is securely processed via our Firebase Cloud Functions using Google's AI services to extract text. The images and data are processed solely for this purpose.
4. Data Security
The security of your data is our top priority:
- Secure Database: We implement strict Firestore Security Rules ensuring that your medical and personal data can only be accessed by your authenticated account.
- Backend Processing: AI processing is handled securely on the backend (Cloud Functions), ensuring no API keys or sensitive logic are exposed in the App.
5. Your Rights and Data Deletion
You have full control over your data. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App settings, or by visiting our Account Deletion page.
- Account Deletion: When you delete your account, your user profile, all prescription images, and all medication logs are permanently erased from our Firebase database.
